By now you’ll have seen Impact Hub Bristol mentioned on social media, in your inbox and all kinds of other places online. What you haven’t seen yet is a bit more about the people behind the project. We all have different interests and expertise but a strong shared vision of Bristol as a fairer city. A city where people with great ideas are helped to make them happen, and everyone feels the benefits. Here’s your introduction to the team who are working hard to make Impact Hub Bristol a reality, and who’ll be alongside you if you decide to get involved…

Justin Woolford


As an environmental campaigner Justin has worked on a diverse range of international and national campaigns – from community energy and fracking to young people and Votes for 16, with organisation like WWF and The Co-operative. He also has training and interest in therapeutic counselling, well-being and nature-based rites of passage.

Justin will be leading on communications & development. Contact:

Chloe Foy


Chloe is a personal and professional life coach, consultant, facilitator and speaker. She completed her Co-Active coach training with the industry-leading Coaches Training Institute (CTI) which was one of the first organisations to be accredited by the International Coaching Federation(ICF). For two years Chloe researched in the science of human behaviour and happiness at the LSE. Now she takes that science to society to improve individuals’ lives.

Darren Hall


As the former manager of the Bristol Green Capital Partnership, Darren’s been in the midst of social & environmental change for the last 7 years, and best known for project managing Bristol winning bid to become European Green Capital 2015. He also helped establish Bristol’s Big Green Week, a 9 day festival of sustainability.

Darren will be leading on strategy & project management. Contact

Will Pritchard


Will designs and delivers support for entrepreneurs who use the power of business to change the world for the better. Typically that comprises training, funding and access to market. A Fellow of the SSE, his time with BBSEN, UnLtd, GoodLab SouthWest and Uncaged Ventures make him a familiar face on the social enterprise scene.

Will will be leading on business development. Contact

Robert Triggs


Robert is an experienced commercial solicitor specialising in advice to start-ups and SMEs in the sustainability, low carbon and not-for-profit sectors as part of Legal Edge LLP. Before working for Legal Edge, Robert worked in a variety of private practice and commercial roles, training at Herbert Smith Freehills in London before specialising in advice to the renewable energy and low carbon sectors at Burges Salmon in Bristol. He also worked in the commercial teams at the Environment Agency and at a FTSE250 UK energy company.

Al Kennedy


Al is an independent business consultant and company director working in and around social business innovation and sustainability. His practice overlaps ‘Design Thinking’, ‘Biomimicry Thinking’, Social Innovation, Purpose, Creative Education, Technology for Social Good and Digital Skills. Al holds an MA from The Royal College of Art and a ‘One Planet’ MBA from Exeter Business School.
